Tournament to Take Place in Three North American Countries

16 Cities to Host 104 Games

The 23rd edition of the FIFA World Cup will take place across Canada, Mexico, and the USA from June 11 to July 19, 2026. The tournament will feature 48 teams and 104 matches, with each of the three host countries hosting at least 10 games.

The 16 host cities were announced by FIFA in June 2022 and include 11 cities in the USA, three in Mexico, and two in Canada. The USA will host matches in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle. Mexico will host matches in Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey. Canada will host matches in Toronto and Vancouver.

The full match schedule for the tournament will be released by FIFA in the coming months. However, it is known that the opening match will be played at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City and the final will be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Tickets for the World Cup will go on sale in early 2023. Fans can register for ticket updates on the FIFA website.
