Borussia Dortmund have advanced to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League after defeating PSV Eindhoven 2-0 (3-1 aggregate) on Wednesday night. The German side dominated the game from start to finish, creating numerous scoring chances and eventually finding the back of the net twice in the second half.

Marco Reus opened the scoring for Dortmund in the 65th minute, firing a low shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Jadon Sancho then sealed the victory with a cool finish in the 87th minute, racing onto a through ball from Reus and slotting it past the goalkeeper.

The win was Dortmund's third in the Champions League qualifying rounds this season, having previously defeated Shakhtar Donetsk and Austria Wien. They will now join the other 31 teams in the group stage draw, which will take place on August 29.
