Celtics Win Game 3 of Eastern Conference Semifinals
The Boston Celtics took a commanding 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Wednesday night with a 111-102 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the win, the Celtics are now just one victory away from advancing to the NBA Finals.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown added 22 points and 8 rebounds. Darius Garland led the Cavaliers with 24 points and 9 assists, while Jarrett Allen added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The Celtics were in control of the game from the start, leading by as many as 15 points in the first half. The Cavaliers made a run in the third quarter, but the Celtics were able to hold on and eventually pull away in the fourth quarter.
With the win, the Celtics are now just one victory away from advancing to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2018. The Celtics will have a chance to close out the series on Friday night in Cleveland.
